I don’t know what’s happening, it’s weird.

I’m posting this here because I don’t know where else to put it. My stomach keeps making noise. It’s louder than just the normal digestion sounds, and it happens for like 5 minutes at a time. As far as I know, I don’t have any abdominal illnesses or anything, this just started happening three days ago. I don’t know what it means, please help.

Hi, I'm not an expert or Doctor but it may be borborygmi. Where trapped gasses make noises in our intestines or bowels. Are you under the care of a gastroenterologist? Have you had any recent testing such as upper and lower abdominal barium follow through. Or a Colonoscopy? You said no abdominal illnesses. How was this confirmed? Have you been diagnosed with IBS?

I made an appointment with my doctor, and I was diagnosed with just a case of acid reflex. I’m nearly better now, antacids are a wonderful thing.

Well..not for me lol..as I suffer from chronic constipation, and they constipate me. 😓. I am glad to hear the good news that the antacids are helping.

Mines been doing the same thing. I have yet to figure it out. My sister is a nurse and we are still seeking a diagnosis. With me it’s not really noise, just activity. It feels like my stomach wants to aggressively digest what I just ate.

My stomach and guts do this all the time. After my lunch especially. I have a hiatus hernia and I blame it for the nosies! X

Hey there. I would also recommend probiotics. These will be great with the antacids you are taking. Probiotics are actually healthy bacteria that help with digestion and gut health. These bacteria are necessary for the healthy functioning of the digestive system, urinary tract and gut as well. Yogurts and kefir would be the best sources of probiotics. But if the your conditions are severe and you need immediate relief, try taking probiotic supplements. One which I know is safe and from a reliable supplier is Flourish Probiotics by Eu Natural.

Also try drinking more water, it will help
