Malabsorption can cause this

Things like crohns disease, celiac diease or ibd.

Can be a sign you pancreas isn't working as well as it should maybe.

Go see your gp and get it investigated

Hey

I would say u just over loaded ur colon.. people with ibs we either have ibs d where we eat and then cant stop goin to toilet or ibs c where we get clogged up.

I was told by a gastro that either one is best not to overload ur stomach as ur stomach and ur colon have to work to hard to absorb it and break it down and get it out... little and often , so tiny meals throughout the day , graze not one or two huge meals.

Also sometimes our bodies do not like to much gluten at one time ie breads and dough and also red meat all really bad food to go through colon.

😂😂😂i know what it like i used to b same i get home from work and devour my dinner like i had not eaten for years where i was so hungry and im tiny and my husband would just be like “ woah where did that all go”?

Then i noticed the pain would come soon after that!

I explained this to gastro and she said it because we have ibs so there is something already wrong with our stomach and mainly colon and what were doin is putting it under even more stress....

So the idea is to eat little and often so u dont get to that point where ur ravenous! So graze through the day, so make sure u have a good breakfast ( sooo important) then about 11 have a breakfast bar and then ur lunch and then eat something again about 2 then have ur dinner by which time u wont b sooo hungry so ur have a smaller meal! Also CHEW as the more larger chunks in ur gut the more it has to break it down and as that comes through the colon that will become clogged.

Also a brilliant thing someone else with ibs told me is water water water ... have a pint of water or squash with every bit of food esp dinner and drink all time through the meal as it helps flush the food through so it not all goin in all clogged up in food bundles it all gona b washed about and flushed through and it will break it all down so ur helping ur belly already by doin half the job.

Also try not to clog up on breads anything doughy or stodgy again it makes ur stomach work more

All these things cause pain.

I started doin all this about 2 years ago and ive had 3 ibs attacks which was red meat so i realised my gut doesn’t like that. So it really works plus i lost 2 stone so it all helps. I literally used to b in pain everyday since i was about 5-6 years old, at 42 i decided to do something about it and really get into trying to figure out why!

Now i dont get a stomach ache every day it so strange to me still that my body is not experiencing pain
