Mintec capsules...What's your opinion?

I got prescribed Mintec capsules for my IBS yesterday as I told my doctor I've been having pain in the lower left of my abdomen for a few months now. I thought I had an ovarian cyst or something but she believes it to be my bowel so she's prescribed me these pills to see if my symptoms improve.

I took my first pill yesterday and two today (as you're supposed to take 3 a day 30-60 minutes before a meal) and I noticed two hours after taking my second I had a horrible feeling in indigestion which could be related to these pills as I hadn't eaten anything out of the ordinary.

I just wonder what side effects any of you have had taking these pills and if your symptoms improved?

Thanks!

E
