Yes had mine, don't want to worry u but I have to have mine removed at the hospital as my string has gone missing. Just be cautious. This is the second one that has had the string gone missing, fell off or retracted. Plus I bled for weeks after I had it fitted. Sorry! All the best.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to try it as I suffer from migraines & having tried the pill for 3 months (Cerazette) I’ve been bleeding for 3weeks at a time. I’ll just have to be cautious with the coil but willing to give it a few months and see how it goes.

Everyone has a different experience but just to let you know I had mine fitted in 2010 (they last for 10 years) and I’ve not had any problems at all. Can’t remember too much of the actual fitting process (which probably meant it went ok) but since it’s been fitted I’ve not even known it’s there. Good luck :)

Thank you. Hopefully it will agree with me too & all is straightforward

An update on the fitting. All went well. I was advised by my consultant gyne to fit a Mirena coil instead. Which I was happier about as I had read bad reviews about the copper one.

I’ll update again in a few weeks 😊
