I've used them for a few months and found they have helped a quicker digestion/transit of food. My IBS comes from a sluggish bowel so these worked for me. Obviously IBS takes on many forms so it depends on the type you have.
Some work better than others as they have to have a high amount of different enzyme units. The cheaper ones don't work. I use one called Doctors Best or Enzymedica. They are made in the US and you can get them on Amazon. They are a bit more expensive though. They do work. Which ones have you tried?
I have tried various ones and then a specialist intolerance nurse suggested Polyzyme Forte by Biocare and I do think it is helping (as well as diet).
