I have been diagnosed with IBS and wonder if any one else has the same symptoms as it is not pain and tummy grumblings that bother me.....

my main problems are extreme nausea and a really nasty taste in my mouth (my oral hygiene is excellent, but I still get through a bottle of mouthwash a week). Going out for a meal is a nightmare as I just don't want to eat. Does this sound familiar to anyone ?.

Sound bit like what I have , do you have problem acid reflux problem ? Like be sick food coming up I now take gaviscon and an it acid have chat with gp could help hope it get better soon

Thanks Zenco; I take Rinitidine for acid reflux (which isn't too bad really), had all tests imaginable - tubes everywhere!!! Take Mebeverine before food, and Stemetil for nausea when it gets too bad - but the taste thing is driving me nuts. Had it for soooo long I'm desperate to just feel well again.

Hi there sorry to read you are so unwell, I too have digestive problems which doctors cant seem to solve, like you have many meds, just wondering do you have a really bloated stomach? wishing you well. trish

Quite a lot of the time, yes, but I am not overweight at all, and have an uncomfortable tummy if pressed. I have just been given two more meds (as well as, not instead of what I already take). They are also thinking that stress plays a part! I Try to eat sensibly, don't even have my glass of wine anymore. Eat porridge 3 times a week -yuk! and still have nausea and bad taste!!!
