Don't you think bacteria are involved in IBS and wouldn't it be good to find out which, in order to fight these 'bad' bacteria?

Interestingly my IBS-D is much better when I take anti-biotics. My stools become more solid and I no longer have urgency!
Yes I've never been prescribed antibiotics for IBS and there really was a marked improvement of my symptoms.
Given that usually antibiotics cause diahorrea and stomach upsets ! But not for me!
Try acidophilous capsules-they equalise good/bad bacteria in the gut!
Good luck.
Get on acidophilous they take care of the bacteria in your gut. A lot of people take them after taking antibiotics to rectify the damage. I personally have been taking them for a few years now and would not be without them.
Thanks. Very helpful
What knocks out bad bacteria also knocks out our needed good bacteria.
