Hi all, I’ve had pain on my left side since Oct. My doctor referred me for a scan (possible ovarian cyst). This is in 2 weeks now. But the pain is getting me down. I ended up in A&E one night as the pain travelled and they suggested it was IBS and bloods were fine.
The pain/dull ache is limited to one side and feels as though it is in left ovary area. But travels to my stomach and lower back. Could this be endometriosis? Will the scan test for this? Thanks
Hi Sorry your dealing w/ that. I had the same symptoms at the first of my Endo diagnosis and I'm sure your dealing w/ a ovarian Cyst or some inflammation on that side. If it's constant that dulls at times then worse others definitely think it's a cyst. Which can be caused from Endometriosis. You will need an ultrasound, or a scan to really tell if it's a cyst and what size it is will determine your treatment and next steps.
