Hi,

My name is Anita.

My late hubby Iain was diagnosed with GBM4 on 27/10/18. I held his funeral on 14/5/19.

After going back and forward to GP myself with dizzy spells for over a year (they said it was stress related) I was diagnosed with a benign Brain Tumour 3 weeks after Iain’s funeral.

TBTC is the first place I go for advice now as I really don’t trust my GP anymore.

Now that Iain has passed I’d like to help other people in the same situation and give something back to this amazing charity that has helped me so much

Hi Anita, Thank you so much for joining our community and becoming a pioneer on this new service.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Iain, and your diagnosis after this. It must have been such a challenging time for you and it's incredible that throughout it all, you support the charity so much. Thank you and we hope you find this new platform useful.

Hello, I am Tatiana, from St Petersburg, Russia. I have a daughter, she was diagnosed in November 2017 with very rare brain cancer pineoblastoma. Now she is 16, in remission. After treatment I together with some parents were going to organize Association of parents of children with brain tumors in our country which would be a very important step. Then unexpectedly I found that I have to fight my own health battle. After treatment I am in remission too. I would be really glad to communicate with people who unfortunately got in this situation. As it is sometimes said, going through cancer treatment and further is a rather lonely journey for some reasons. My warmest hugs to Community
