Administrator (volunteer)

This is an opportunity to make a difference by providing the administrative support needed by a small charity working in the UK and internationally to tackle the world’s leading infectious killer: Tuberculosis.

TB Alert has been working for over 20 years in the UK and internationally to tackle TB. However, Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the charity. In developing countries, many projects we support have been put on hold. In the UK, the focus of health services has understandably shifted to Covid-19. This has led to our financial reserves falling rapidly so the charity is restructuring itself to ensure we can continue delivering our priority activities. These priorities include supporting our sister charity TB Alert India, maintaining The Truth About TB information website, and providing an advice service.

From December the charity is no longer employing a paid staff team. We are therefore seeking a volunteer with experience of finance administration to work with the Trustees in managing the charity’s finance and administration systems. This role will take about a day a week.
