6 MONTHS TREATMENT DONE.

so it has been 6 months of my tb treatment, it was minimal ptb, no symptoms or so, negative sputum, but i had like spots on my chest, i had my first xray 6months ago then i took 4 meds every day for 2 months, then came back for followup check up, xray and the spot got smaller, then the doctor had given me 2 meds to take for another 4 months, and now its done i decided to take another xray nearby where i live and my lungs are already clear, can i stop drinking meds now? my doctor is like 19 km from where i live and i have to pass by high risk covid areas and im scared to go there, what do i do?

The minimum time to take TB medicines is 6 months, but what did your doctors tell you to do?

what he told me the last time i was there was to finish the remaining 4 months, and go back to him to get another xray to see if there are still remaining spots/dots. but since i can't contact them anymore the only thing i could do is go there to check if he still there or moved or changed schedules.

Gosh, it all sounds a bit flippant really. TB is a serious condition and should not be messed with. Are you not able to get confirmation with at least a phone call? I’m sorry I would not like to give an Answer really incase it’s wrong.
