Lent - a challenge

Lent is often a time when people say that they are giving up something e.g. chocolate, alcohol, TV or something else. A challenge that I was posed with is "should I be taking up something for Lent"? In my case it was eating more not less. My friend went on to say that God wants us to eat in a healthy way and if that means eating more then that's what I should do.

Is there something, anything, however small, we can take up this Lent? A change to honour this special time of year? Something to make us more healthy and live life in a more full way.
