Whenever I have anxiety or depression, I stop drinking water and stop eating. I didn't even crave food. I don't do this purposefully. I recall that many times I did not even miss food. And then I almost passed out. Other times I don't eat, then my legs, arms, and chest start getting these either muscle jerks or nerve jerks, and I get really tired. And the jerks center in my chest. What is happening here when this is happening.? I know it's not safe, but it's whenever I have anxiety or depression. Is this common? Is this normal. 🤔

Suggest you need to see a doctor with some urgency - the symptoms you describe around food could relate to an ED - but the other physical symptoms need to be looked into too - not drinking water can lead to some of the problems you describe - but please please do get checked out.
Oh dummy me I was thinking the other ED?
This is an interesting one. I think that we with eating disorders are usually fixated on food in one way or another, not forgetting it entirely. Of course this does sound serious, but I would imagine that for you, and even those that do have serious eating disorders, the bulk of the work would be working on the anxiety and depression. I know my eating disorder is "triggered" by the anxiety. ☮️
