hi, in need of some advice, im currently on a re-feeding diet in a eating disorder unit. my weight has been consistently going up each week however this week there has been a drop in weight after being weighed this morning. does any one have any advice on why this has happened and if its just a one of thing. any relies would be helpful

weight fluctuates for everyone - and as you are on a re-feeding programme you are getting the right advice to help you gain weight sensibly. Suggest you talk to your therapist/dietician about the drop just to put your mind at rest. Water retention/loss is also a factor - and with this hot weather it may be that the weight loss = less water retained in your body. Hope this helps and good luck with the recovery.

hi, oh yes this makes a lot of sense actual and has helped a load I guess especially with the heat wave increased sweat with increase water loss. thankyou very much for the help
