Do you have any support from a therapist/counsellor - its so important that alongside the issues around physically eating you get some support emotionally and to explore the reason for your issues around food. I know how scary changes in eating plans can be - and the threats of hospital - but EDs are mental diseases that distort our views around food and how we see ourselves - sometimes we have to trust others to take a degree of control over our physical needs ie food/exercise - to enable the deeper issues around the reasons for or problems and how we cope with food and life in general - to be dealt with - also our physical well-being at the end of the day needs proper care as the mental illness can prevent us recognising how unwell we actually are. Have you thought of contacting ABC or BEAT helplines - they are confidential and can give you real support.
