making myself sick

Please don't let yourself get started, bulimia becomes an obsession that is really hard to overcome and is also very deadly!! It can cause serious health issues and you are too young to die!!
Hi,
I agree with spiritedlady. Having an eating disorder is all too easy to get into and recovery from one is a hard journey. Try to break the habit before it gets hold of you.
You may find it helpful to talk with someone from Anorexia Bulimia Care.
Also try to do something positive after a meal so you don't dwell on the food you have just eaten.
Try to make sure that your meals are healthy and contain enough energy. You are at a very important time in your life.
all the best
Hi! I was the same age as you when I started trying to throw up, and thankfully after 2 months I put a stop to it, and I really hope you do the same! It may seem daunting but maybe tell someone in your family, or even just stay around people after you've eaten as a distraction. If you're around relatives or friends, you can't purge in privacy, which was part of the reason I stopped. However I did go on to get BED from starting making myself throw up and it was a downward spiral from there. I was in the same boat as you thought I was fat and unworthy and I totally get why you're doing it, but in retrospect, I wasn't overweight and didn't need to purge- and I imagine your the same. 10st doesn't sound too heavy for a girl your age (sorry I don't know your height, so I'm just generalising- not trying to patronise I promise!) As long as your eating healthy and lead an active lifestyle, you'll look great and be healthy, even if you need to work on self-esteem to realise that, don't give up on yourself and get into the bulimic cycle! I hope this helps, good luck and remember you're more than a number on a scale, I wish I'd remembered that when I started x
