How do I tell people I have an eating disorder?

I have been secretly battling with bulimia for 6 years. I've had enough, but I can't bring myself to tell my family or ask for help.

Hi I have bulimia as well , I also found it hard to ask for help it will be hard telling your family but they might already know. I thought I was able to keep my bulimia a secret but my family knew they were worried about me and want me to get better because they love me. Speak to your doctor who will be able to give you some help the hardest part is asking for help

I found this very hard. Do you have a close friend you could talk to? I told a couple of friends and then went for help supported by my friend. It took me a very long time to tell my parents. I found that really tough as they didn't get it. Think about who understands you, often someone close to you will suspect it anyway and not be surprised. Good luck!
