Herbal and complementary treatments
While I'd never stop my Symbicort, Spiriva and
Ventolin
, I often wonder if I'm missing other additional benefits available from the vast range of herbal and complementary products. I fully accept that many of them are nothing but snake oil, but some of them might have potential.

Asthma/Bronchitus
In addition to above I sometimes need to take
VENTOLIN
INHALER & Additional dose of Theophylline. Inspite of all the above I normally feel discomfort in breathing in the second half of the day. Any patient or a doctor reading my above question may suggest or advise please.

Asthma worse since moving abroad.
I take a fostair inhaler twice a day and my
ventolin
inhaler when I need it. I have anxiety which doesnt help. Anyway, since moving here i've felt my breathing is far more shallow, and wheezing occurs during most of the day. Is there anything I can do to stop it from being so bad?

Experiencing breathing problems
I have asthma in my family - my sister, cousin and two of my children all suffer - and I have tried a
Ventolin
inhaler without success. I am hoping that I can find out more about what is wrong and of course how to get the best out of my life even with this disability.

Ventolin & Betablockers
I know
Ventolin
is a Beta agonist and the other is a blocker. I'm confused here.

Joint pain
I'm on
Ventolin
Accuhaler as well as Spiriva. Sob and exhaustion have been a real problem and I do think that sob has improved since using Spiriva for 3 months but I have recently developed painful joints and nodules on my fingers. My knees are so bad now that I can hardly walk.

When I have to use
Ventolin
I find this interfere with my heart rhythm. When I mentioned this to my doctor they said that I would have to be using
Ventolin
a lot to do this. Just wondered what your thoughts are on this?

I still use my
ventolin
a fair bit but no where near as much as I did. If anyone is offered the jabs I would highly recommend trying them. I was referred to Glenfields in Leicester they're wonderful! However I am now having mine at my local hospital, three injections every four weeks.

From down under down under
I also have a
Ventolin
puffer I religiously take with me everywhere I go just in case. I haven't needed it for the last 6 months. My only issue is "I cant cook" so I am slowly teaching myself how to cook. It is time consuming.

Finally getting answers.
Don't get me wrong the medication will be for a lifetime but people are working so hard to research and understand asthma and it's not taken for granted anymore that you take a shot of
ventolin
and all is well.

Has anyone else managed to come off these steroid inhalers and back on to the brown
ventolin
?? successfully? I am positive my cough, when it comes, is caused through some obscure allergy. I live South London - anyone near here?

Asthma Attack 'n' Back (to A&E)
Shortly after the prednisolone (but not because of it) I worsened again and they just whacked in some more nebulised
Ventolin
(in addition to plenty of puffs through my spacer) which helped quite a bit.

Can you help me? too much phlegm on my chest
Yes really Not under a consultant and think that may be the next step I take daily Montelukast Sodium 10mg (evening),
Ventolin
of course, Seretide and Piriton if I need it Steroids tend to flood down my throat in the damp months and I feel really low in myself as I just have so many months of feeling

Short of breath in morning
a lot) but do have a what I can only describe as a ""tight"" chest. nnTwo puffs of
Ventolin
seems to sort it out, eventually. nnMaybe I should start the Beclometasone dipropionate again?
