What I wish I had known (and what I have learnt through trial and error!)
As a 20 year old, I would just see if it would calm down by itself, waiting months before seeking help even if I was over-relying on my
ventolin
. I now know the soon it’s treated the less likely it is to get severe and the quicker I’ll get over it! 4.

What is your weirdest trigger or your funniest location of attack?

6 months post Ablation
This wasn't the case before my ablation and I don't know if this is related to the procedure or a worsening of my asthma I've spoken to my GP who has referred me for a chest x-ray but is reluctant to prescribe
ventolin
meantime as it affects the heart rate which could bring on AF.

Ventolin inhaler -v- salbutamol generic inhaler
I feel better with the genuine
ventolin
inhaler rather than the generic one. Does anyone else have any advice on this?

Jerking Awake To Catch Breath.
I’d do have severe allergic asthma (tree & grass pollen) & my meds are - Dymista, Fexofenadine 180x4(max dose if required), Fostair 200/6, Alvesco 160(add on) Montelukast &
ventolin
as required.

Antihistamines
Ventolin
usually sorts it all out, but I'm not sure if its a virus, or if its the new tablets, or if its something else triggering me? I haven't been out apart from running my other half to and from work, and nothing new has changed in the house (smells etc).

Struggling
No joy with that, so we added montelukast to the mix, plus a spacer for my clenil/
ventolin
to make sure it was getting into my lungs OK. After about a month of clenil + montelukast, I got some control back, but was still using my
ventolin
daily.

Shielding/work anxiety.
Last couple of years have been quite uncontrolled, quite a few attacks and couple of hospital admissions, on and off pred continuously, (currently on again) inhalers are flutiform 250 x 4 puffs a day,
ventolin
- currently using 2-3 times a day.

Weird new allergies and non-allergic asthma
seem to be getting extra random allergies from the odd food as well: 2 years ago it was mango which is exclusively asthma, but moved on rapidly from 'coughing fit after drinking a glass of pure mango juice' to 'full on mini asthma attack with peak flow drop (unusual for me) taking time and a lot of

Uniphyllin?
I also take spiriva, symbicort 400/12 - twice a day,
ventolin
, lansoparzole and Avamys. However I’ve been on those for years so can’t imagine any of those causing it. I’ve not had a nebuliser and not needed to take my
ventolin
for the past few days. Thanks in advance

Asthma 'Newbie' - Help/Suggestions please!
I'm on Fostair 100/6 up to 8 times a day and
Ventolin
. I've had the annoying asthma cough back for about 2-3 weeks now, and non stop wheezing (I find it quite embarrassing). Cough wakes me up during the night as well. Last week Peak Flow dropped to 300.

Just diagnosed with asthma.33y old female.Taking prednisone, duoneb (ipratropium bromide and albuterol), advair hfa, ventolin, montelukast.
Hi all, I have been diagnosed with asthma 3 weeks ago as a consequence of viral infection. I was started on symbicort. But my reaction was bad with a lot of yawning and difficulty breathing in first 3-4 h after inhaling. I went to pulmonary doc. And I was started with Montelukast, duoneb nebulizer 4xday

Adult onset.....not chronic??🤷♀️
I'll try and keep this short...I was very poorly with my chest in January/February, doc kept saying he thought it was asthma or bronchitis...but I also needed treatment for chest infections...I didn't improve until we tried clenil along with
ventolin
.....fast forward to covid 19, I haven't yet had diagnostics

Going Back to Work in a Nursery
condition, but then things became unclear so I never actually received one, although I have been shielding anyway... my asthma is currently starting to slide, as I suffer severely from hay fever which has been awful these past couple of months... even sitting in the garden is becoming impossible without
