CT scan while on Venetoclax + Rituximab
I wonder whether any of you being on
Venetoclax
+ Rituximab treatment has had a CT scan to monitor changes in lymph nodes and if so at what point in treatment time has this been carried out. I am currently in week 4 (200mg daily) of ramp-up.

Expert Perspective on Key Trial Updates in Treatment of CLL: What You Need to Know From ASCO/EHA/ICML 2021
In addition, there are new data on BTK inhibitors combined with
venetoclax
, a new way of taking doublet therapy forward into the future."[/i] Lots of information here and too much to summarise in a few paragraphs but well worth looking at.

Can Venetoclax be used again if relapse?
Can someone go back on
Venetoclax
after the Murano trial? It's been a year and starting to get tired again and sore neck and armpits. Wondering if it's coming back and if so if
Venetoclax
can be used again? It works well the first time. Thanks. Cm

Hi, I am about to start treatment with acalabrutinib for my cll, I was originally told I would be treated with
venetoclax
and Obinutuzumab but I also receive treatment for my bladder cancer so my consultant said I wouldn’t be able to receive the v+o while also receiving the BCG for bladder cancer.

Richter’s Transformation - updated
When treated with treatments like Ibrutinib or
Venetoclax
that act so fast, the CLL goes away and that's when the RT comes out aggressively.

Frontline treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL/SLL) in 2021
Given high response rates with ibrutinib, acalabrutinib, and
venetoclax
, there is no one clearly superior strategy or one-size-fits-all approach.

Well, I started
Venetoclax
just over 2 weeks ago and can’t believe how well I feel with no side effects at all so far. I will have 6 rounds of Rituximab starting in a couple of months.

Suspending Ibrutinib
I am in the UK and Ipresently take Ibrutinib and
Venetoclax
as treatment for CLL however I have received a call from my hematologist saying that because I am on medication for blood pressure I should cease taking the Ibrutinib and wait for further updates. Has anyone else received a call?

Concerns about the level of protection of Covid vaccine while on Obinutuzimab and Venetoclax.
Hi I have recently had my last infusion of Obinutuzimab, and am taking 300g
Venetoclax
daily. I still haven't decided whether to have the covid vaccine.

Treatment advised (after 21 years w & w)
I told hospital (Royal Marsden) I wasn't keen on FCR, so was offered a choice of (1) Obinutuzumab plus
Venetoclax
or (2) Acalabrutinib. I was also given a leaflet on Rituxan but I am not sure how this would fit in (could it be combined with
Venetoclax
as a first-line treatment in the UK?)

From the CLL14 Study: Venetoclax Plus Obinutuzumab Prolongs Progression Free Survival, Not Overall Survival , in CLL
The 4-year OS rate was 85.3% in the
venetoclax
arm and 83.1% in the chlorambucil arm (HR, 0.85; 95% CI, 0.54-1.35; P =.49). Second primary malignancies were seen in 40 patients in the
venetoclax
arm and 30 in the chlorambucil arm.

Have you relapsed on, or become refractory to a Btki drug such as ibrutinib, or the bcl-2i venetoclax?

Long-Term Data Showcase the Clinical Utility of Fixed-Duration Venetoclax/Obinutuzumab in Treatment-Naïve CLL
What do these data suggest in terms of the clinical utility of
venetoclax
/obinutuzumab in this patient population? The data suggest that a frontline approach with
venetoclax
and obinutuzumab is very feasible and effective for an elderly patient population [with CLL].

3rd Covid shot while still receiving (O & V)?
I have read that taking and while taking
venetoclax
greatly reduces the response to the Covid vaccine to only about 15%. Does anyone have experience taking a 3rd covid vaccine (perhaps J & J) to boost this currently, probably low response?
