switching to relvar from pulmicort
I am on Pulmicort 100 2 puffs twice a day my Asthma nurse has suggested that I change to relvar 184 to try and control the severe oral thrush I continually get, I’m a bit dubious as I rarely need to use a reliever and in the winter I am able to reduce the Pulmicort to 1 puff twice a day. Also I have

COMMENTS/REVIEWS ON UMECLIDINIUM
I have been on Seebri since 2016 - due to this virus I have been in Malta all year & although we have a reciprocal agreement with the UK, you are only allowed certain medicines that are on the government's list, of which this is not, therefore like the Maltese, I have to have a prescription & pay for

I stopped using my Breo inhaler, fluticasone furoate 200 mcg and vilanterol 25 mcg inhalation powder. Some people try to tell me it's not possible to be in withdrawl. PIP awarded until Feb 2019 Taken off me
Hi After being awarded standard rate for daily living mid 2016 until Feb 2019 I was pleased. My husband is my constant carer as I struggle with all daily tasks. Daily living is a struggle to say the least. Out of the blue earlier this year the DWP sent a form to fill in about changes to my disabilities

Inhaler change!
Doc changed it to the following : ANORO Elipta :
Umeclidinium
bromide 65micrograms/dose /
Vilanterol
22micrograms/dose dry powder inhaler 30 dose - inhale 1 dose daily. I've only been using it for a couple of days but the effect is quite surprising.

Salbutomol inhaler repeat prescription disallowed
Hi, I have been diagnosed with COPD for 4 months now, been hospitalised once and had another day in for a flare up. I have been on Salbutomol (to use when required) and Vilanterol (once a day), my doctor has now put on my notes that I must not be prescribed any more Salbutomol until mid December. I admit

Has anybody tried "Anoro" yet?
Hi, Computer has been on the "blink" and only just got sorted. In between times I have visited my Practice Nurse for the first time since being diagnosed with COPD. She has put me on a course of broncho-dilators called Anoro. It's a slow-release over 24 hours, so one inhalation in a morning and I

Umeclidinium/Vilanterol
Hello Everybody, I wondered if anybody else has been prescribed this quite new drug which is marketed as Anoro Ellipta and if anybody finds it more effective than what they were using. In my case Ipratropium. I'm not too sure about it and I would be so grateful if anyone has any feedback. I think it
