Trihexyphenidyl for ST
He suggested we try
Trihexyphenidyl
to start. I asked him if it was offered in liquid form, because I despise swallowing meds. Well, within a few weeks, I was able to hold my head upright again! It truly was miraculous to me! I told people it was like I regrew one of my limbs! SOOOO HAPPY!

Parkinson's Diagnosis: The Good, and The Bad
Currently I take 100mg of Amantadine/x3 a day, .5 mg of Azilect x1/day, 2mg of
Trihexyphenidyl
/x1 night. I am dealing with symptoms with the goal of holding off Levodopa as long as possible.

Medicine kicking in late and wearing off early
Presently I am taking Carbadopa/Levodopa 25/100MG Tab 4 times a day;
Trihexyphenidyl
Tab 2MG 4 times a day; and Azilect 1MG once a day. My biggest problem lately are the drugs kicking in late and also wearing off early. This is my first post ever. I am curious what other PD folks are experiencing.

Dry Mouth Syndrome
It appears that this can be caused by a drug
Trihexyphenidyl
which is one of the not so well known drugs prescribed for Parkinsons. And guess what? I take it. I have tried to come off it in the past because of some minor side effects, but only half heartedly.

Generic Drugs
I take Stalevo, Ropinerole,
Trihexyphenidyl
and half Sinemet CR. These have worked well for me. However, my GP has advised that they intend to change my Ropinirole tablet with a tablet called Repinex XL This appears to be the generic trade name and the tablets are said to be same as Ropinerole.

Has anyone tried trihexyphenidyl, procyclidine or orphenadrine ? If so any help?
Dad has had some benefit from the hyoscine patches in terms of improving movement and speech at first, but now they just help with swallow mainly. The patch gives too much of a rash so we may give one of these a try, just thought I'd see if anyone else had tried? It is for Parkinson's really.

Does anyone take Trihexyphenidyl?
I have recently been prescribed the above tablet in addition to my other meds. I go back to see my Consultant soon and although it does seem to help my tremors, was wondering if anyone else took it. The comments I have received seem to indicate that there are a number of side effects.

Does anyone take Trihexyphenidyl?
I had an appointment with my Consultant yesterday as my usual cocktail of Stalevo, Requip XL and Sinemet CR are not controlling my tremor. After discussing various options I was asked to try one of the above tablets twice a day. As I have never heard of this drug I wondered whether anyone had had
