Hello all..........first time poster🙂
The hospital consultant has put me on
theophylline
tablets (200mg), but I’m finding I’m even more breathless with taking these. I’m also on amoxicillin and predsolone at the same time. Has anyone had the same problem with
theophylline
, or could it be the ‘cocktail ‘ of meds causing the problem?

IgE mediated allergies now non-IgE mediated.
And I spent years being told I was non-compliant as my
theophylline
levels were always low and than I was accidentally given a gram of aminophylline in an hour and my levels only went to 19 and were back to 4 within 12 hours, so now I'm on silly high doses and actually have a therapeutic level The plan

Azithromycin dosage
I am also taking symbicort, montelukast,
theophylline
(2x morning and 1x evening) Baclofen 20mg 3x daily. Just realised most people take Azithromycin only 3 times a week. Also, will I be taking it indefinitely? Many thanks

advise whether they have regular blood tests to keep an eye on things?

Sleepy after some asthma drugs.
Eventually, having exhausted most of what she can think of, she started me on 200mg every 12 hours of Uniphyllin (
theophylline
).

What next? Still exacerbating
Previously been on Montelukast but it was stopped as I don't have an allergic component; wondering if
theophylline
would be useful of if anyone else has been in the same position and found something that works. Thanks

Chest is being a little *ahem* snitch
This was my first appointment at the new clinic in a different county so all that really happened was a good chat with the consultant, a drop-in with physio (proper appointment next time), and the addition of
theophylline
to my other meds, which has helped with my asthma symptoms, and the doc said he

Xolair/Theophylline
He's mentioned also he'd like to begin Xolair treatment once I've had the blood test done for
Theophylline
. Has anyone else been on Xolair and can share some experiences of it? Has it been beneficial in gaining control of your asthma? Also are they painful?

be causing this.
