Note on my prescription!
When I went to pick up my prescription of colomycin, water and
symbicort
there was a highlighted note that had been printed on it - expensive drugs check payment and does patient need it? Is this the beginning of us being rationed? Has anyone else had anything like that.

trouble with symbicort SMART?
Does anyone else have bother with this? I sometimes have trouble taking it if my chest is tight, I find it hard to make sure I inhale deeply enough. Is this a problem for anyone else?

A good appt this time!
He agrees with me that the
Symbicort
seems to be working and that I should carry on with it. I wasn't sure whether he would so this is good. I do have to try giving up the Ventolin till next time as he feels I may be using it so much that it's aggravating things; I'll use the Atrovent instead.

Stepping down after infections/colds etc.
My GP told me to up my
Symbicort
from 2 to 3 puffs twice a day 'for a few days' during this weird infection. Problem is, I forgot to ask for more details.

Seretide & sore throats!
I was taking
symbicort
but it looks like the lactose in it was causing problems so I've been changed onto Seretide had my Telfast dose upped and had cetirizine added as well.

Just thought I'd mention ......
I'm coughing like crazy this morning and my lungs are full of gunk, despite using my lovely
symbicort
, but I haven't been anywhere (yet) to get a lungfull of any of my usual triggers. Anyway, as a result I've got the hump BIG time.

Bit confused - advice needed (not urgent)!
Basically, I thought the
Symbicort
was at least starting to work as things really began to improve about 3 weeks after I started it.

Symbicort 400/12
Is anyone having problems accessing
Symbicort
400/12. My pharmacy has told me this morning that there is a general supply issue across my city, so assuming it is a national problem too. And doesn't know when it will become available.

Twitchy lungs and curry?!?!
Weird question I know but I went out for a curry tonight for the first time in months and now my lungs are kicking off (not urgent all under control with ventolyn and
symbicort
). Maybe just a coincidence and they're actually just twitchy anyway....

Reducing inhaled medication
I am trying to reduce my
symbicort
(400/12) from 3 puffs twice a day to 2 puffs twice a day. I expect to have to adjust to the reduced long acting reliever but I am really struggling in the mornings without that 3rd puff.

Aaargh! It's raining pollen!
So here I am, stuck in the house with my
Symbicort

Good news!
Not only is this generally good, but as nothing else has changed I think it might be the
Symbicort
actually starting to work!! Which is good for many reasons apart from symptom relief, including me having something to show my cons next time I see him so he has a better idea of what's going on.
