Spiriva

Hoping to speak to nurse this week about maybe adding in Spiriva. But I’ve noticed I’m getting really bad low back pain during the periods when I’m knocked down, as in standing for any length of time and walking not very far is agony. Does anyone else get this?

Hi I've just been prescribed this inhaler... Anyone understand the best time of day to take it...or any other useful advice. Also on symbicort, montelukust etc etc. Thanks in advance. 😁

I'm now on Fostair 100/6 (2 puffs morning and night) and spiriva respimat (2 puffs morning) along with carbocistein. Early on this year I had several chest infections where I was continually coughing up green and bloody phlegm.

Long post though, sorry 😊 So, I am on Fostair 200/6 2 puffs bd, Spiriva Respimat 2 puffs om, Ventolin prn (but needing at least 6 puffs a day at the minute, usually more, due to the storms, weather heat, humidity, etc), ventolin nebs prn, uniphyllin 300mg bd, montelukast 1 nocte, fexo 180mg 1om, omeprazole

He gave me spiriva which seems to help some. I have hypothyroidism and am getting my dose correct now. Any thoughts on what it could be? I’m being sent for a sleep study as well, can that show COPD or anything that standard tests would miss?

I begged to at least have the doc call me, so I could asked my question about side effects from Spiriva. I am very inclined to make formal complaint to the Maricopa Medical Board.This treatment I received has to unethical, at the very least non-compassionate.

However I was just wondering if anyone else has this symptom: I currently take fostair 200, montelukast, spiriva respimat (tiotropium) and a nasal spray for chronic sinusitis + or minus steroids and antibiotics.

My regular meds are seretide 250, montelukast, spiriva, ventolin. Asthma has been well controlled until January this year when my asthma flared up and stopped me from to doing day to day activities, my peak flow dropped from 440 to 300. Had around four courses of pred and 3 courses of antibiotics.

This is a SAMA (short acting muscarinic antagonist), so LAMAs (like spiriva) should be stopped if using them. Unlike salb nebs, they have a limit to 4 a day (spread out). Home atrovent nebs for asthma are really really not approved of, so should only be prescribed by a tertiary consultant.

I scored 0 on the charts but she then asked had I considered taking anoro rather than spiriva respimat.

I use relvar , spiriva and nebulize 3 percent sodium chloride. Are steroids bad for Bronchiectasis?

I’ve been on Montelukast 18 months and Spiriva Respimat 6 months. Inhaled steroids for a million years so unlikely to be that. Anyone have a similar experience?

I am on spiriva, dulera, QVAR, montelukast, xyzal, Dupixent shots, and daily prednisone of 15 mg for now. My pulmonologist basically said there’s nothing more to do. When I need it, I have albuterol inhalers and albuterol nebulizer. I have been feeling poorly for weeks.

I currently take fostair 200/6, spiriva, montelukast and I’m down to 4x ventolin every 4 hours, I’ve also done the covid test and have to wait 48hrs for the results.

I have been taking Spiriva and Fostair for three years. They are great. Last week whilst using Spiriva in my usual manner I saw white mist escaping from the sides of the mouthpiece. Now my asthma is well controlled 24/7.

Have been taking my Salbutamol, Anoro Ellipta and Spiriva Respimat but I've got a very metallic/blood like taste whenever I'm coughing at the moment. Haven't had that before. Is that "normal"?

Is Spiriva Respimat effective for reducing sputum? I appreciate that its supposed to serve that purpose, but would appreciate knowing if Users think it actually does. Thanks in advance for any comments about it.

I used buy SA spiriva , . Ok they like keep me alive . I will post if this really make difference. Next please script cobt oil works my fibromyalgia . Always used in all countries I lived legal .

I also take spiriva, symbicort 400/12 - twice a day, ventolin, lansoparzole and Avamys. However I’ve been on those for years so can’t imagine any of those causing it. I’ve not had a nebuliser and not needed to take my ventolin for the past few days. Thanks in advance

Im not complacent but this has gone on for a good while now and my nurse wants to put me on to a lighter inhaler, trouble for me being I can't tolerate the anti-cholinergic elements (e.g. spiriva) and most of the milder ones have this category of medication in them. Any thoughts?
