Hi, my son who is 9 has been on
Seretide
for the past few months. He has recently developed a tic where he is shaking his head and this is getting really noticeable that his friends have started to comment 😞.

67 year old female living in Brittany.
I started with the brown inhaler, then, after a few years when my asthma attacks became more frequent, I was changed to the lilac inhaler
Seretide
which I still use.

Seretide change
My son is also an asthmatic and they have made a complete mess of his medication in trying to get him off
seretide
. I am worried about this change and want to know what the nearest alternative to
seretide
. This must be an evohaler rather than powder what alternatives should I push for?

I’ve managed very well over the years with just Ventolin so to now be on

for the next two weeks adds to the level of shock. I’ve taken the week off work but now several days later still feel as though I’ve run a marathon.

Reflux side effects from combination inhalers- is it from steroid or Laba component?
I found a few old posts on this forum stating exactly the same - that increasing
seretide
dosage makes them more breathless .

My quality of life has been on a rapid decline.. hoping someone can help.
- ASTHMA PREVENTERS: I have tried
Seretide
& Symbacourt (dry power disk/turbo) and also at the moment Symbacourt's inhaler version but I always have the same issue, they work really well initially but after a few days of using them, my breathing gets noticeably worse, to the point of being unbearable

Fostair
Hi, Today My GP agreed to let me try a Fostair inhaler instead of
Seretide
, which I suspect isn't doing me any good. I've to let him know how it is after two weeks. The Chemist wants to know after a week. Hope it is better. Has anyone done this and found any difference?. Cheers.😀

I was given
Seretide

Fostair side effects -how long after stopping Fostair?
Hi, I tried different inhalers - get short of breath on
Seretide
, cough more on Relvar , but Fostair by far was the worst - lots of side effects - hands tremor , hands feel numb, numb mouth with lots of mucus , joint and chest pains, etc. I stopped it 2 days ago but side effects don't disappear .

Respiratory hot clinic asthma care (first time beyond GP care)
Day 12 of Prednisolone with Flixotide 250 (twice a day) added to my inhaler of
Seretide
250 (twice a day). Taking Monkelaust too for 'allergic asthma' So desperate for sleep as now I have nasal discharge (cold) and have been unable to sleep on my side or back for two days.

Annoying clear mucus
The GP gave me a flixatoid inhaler to supplement my
seretide
. Anyone got any ideas what I can ask for from the asthma nurse? Ever have this problem yourself? My nose also seems blocked a lot. I tried anti-histemine but it didn't do much. Thanks!

Is it my son's asthma inhalers making his teeth bad.
The dentist said that his inhaler could of done this so I took him to the doctor and the doctor wasn't sure why they have gone like it I asked if he could change the inhaler to somethings like fostair or
seretide
he can use then through a spacer but the doctor said if symbicort is helping then it doesn't

Worsening asthma since taking Fostair, despite peak flow etc. looking fine
I have been on
Seretide
250 until fairly recently, and my asthma has been the best it has ever been, only needing to take Ventolin about once every 6 months. Since taking Fostair my asthma seems to have got gradually worse, and I am now taking Ventolin most days.
