My bout with depression.
So far things are on an even keel with that , get Sandostatin shot once a month. Some months are better than others.
My main concern is for my son. He had such a bright future in front of him, Assistant teaching while getting his masters in creative writing .
Upset
Doctor stopped my Sandostatin shot after my colon surgery for over 3 months so colon could heal. He stated since my cancer is slow growing it would be fine. Well. Guess what? My count has more than tripled from chromogranin being 120 to almost 500 !
Now waiting to see oncologist on Tuesday.
Update
Seems my carcinoid syndrome plus Sandostatin are causing my problems, with my colon and intestinal track. I have what they call Gastroparisis.
So now more testing and tweeting of medication. Soooo, long rode ahead.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Saw my new oncologist last week and some how there was a mixup and there was no order for my Sandostatin shot. Doc. was looking into it , well as of now it is a week since I've been there. I have called both W/B office and Scranton and still no replies.
Yeah!
So it's a new "normal" for me to get these shots of Sandostatin every month along with b/w. I Pray every day that the good Lord will help me to live a good life for as long as possible. Have a good day everyone!6
