Lung Doc Visit....
Just got back from a visit with my lung doctor and found my FEV1 was up 2 points to 30; this after having started daily intake of CoQ10 (100 mg) and regular exercise doing yard work and the such. In addition, we found that I was supposed to be, and he supposed I WAS, on albuterol as a rescue measure

New diagnosis and inhalers help!
I have been started on a ventolin
salbutamol
inhaler temporarily till my appointment. I get constant breathlessness worse on exertion. My peakflow should be 470 and often drops to 350.

Flare-up. How long can it last?
I've been having this flare up that just will not go away and will not get better. It's going in 5 or 6 weeks. I've been on augmentin, levaquin, and now Zithromax 3 times a week. Of course, have been on steroids throughout. How long can this last? I'm fine sitting, but when I try to do anything, Im

diagnosed late twenties
a few times a day to seritide twice a day + a nasal steroid spray +
salbutamol
if required - which has made an amazing difference. i can feel it affecting my fitness - and i basically never had any health condition before. i just don't understand where it came from.

Going round in circles with consultant
It was concluded that with my family history, experiences of attacks and responsiveness to
salbutamol
and steriods (even though a high dose is often needed) that I do in fact have asthma (driven mainly by allergies).

Hello, new here!
When we got to a&e they gave her a nebuliser of
salbutamol
, and she fell asleep, this was at 4.30am. I'm finding it really difficult to be believed that it's asthma, just because she's not got the typical wheeze associated with asthma.

Adverse Reaction to Salbutamol
Eventually, she was well enough to go home but we were told that in all likelihood she had had an adverse reaction to the
Salbutamol
and not to take it again.

WALKIE TALKIES-LIFE SAVERS
I have lost count of the times he pressed the button when I was doing something and he just said, 'help me', I could get to him and see he was having a breathing 'do', get his nebuliser and
Salbutamol
and wait until he started breathing again normally.

Must Fight Naps
I have COPD Emphysema. I take Spiriva, Symbicort, Mucinex & I nebulize with albuterol inhalation solution on a daily basis just to get out of bed & move around. As the disease progresses I get tired. Not just tired but down right sleepy. I could, if I were a mind to, lay down & sleep for LORD knows how

Hello and confusion
Taking
salbutamol
definitely helps - but doesn't clear the symptoms. I've gone up to 10 puffs by which point the tightness clears but still feel a bit breathless and the tightness does come back eventually!

Sudden change after years of controlled asthma
I suddenly felt my breathing was laboured, chest was tight, I was coughing and wheezing more and having to use my
salbutamol
regularly. Also after being able to run 6 miles I could only run 1 until I had a full on attack where my
salbutamol
was ineffective.
