US Healthcare, I have Bronchiectasis, MAI, and Liver Disease
In the midst of our great country so many have no medical care. I am afraid to say that I have become one of them. I am saddened by the delay of helping me to get treatment. As some of you know I was diagnosed in Aug 2012. Took me until Dec. 2012 to see a Dr for my Bronchiectasis. It literally took

Smoking - COPD
I'm pleased to say I have not smoked since I take seretide an
salbutamol
and can do most things. If you smoke It's true your condition will deteriorate - so don't be in denial and give up if you want to live longer.

What exercise do you do? Does anyone use a Wii?
At the moment I manage on just Spiriva and I have a Ventolin (
salbutamol
) inhaler but I'm trying not to use it as I seem to get discomfort in my chest with it and want to discuss with the nurse if there is an alternative.

Symbicort
I have been prescribed Symbicort to replace my Seretide, Qvar and
Salbutamol
. However, I have just read the information leaflet and it mentions that the powder does not have a taste I was just wondering if anyone else is on this inhaler. How do I know if I have taken my dose or not?

I know i get more
salbutamol
in from a neb than from 10 puffs of my inhaler (i dont care how many times im told theyre the same, i just do feel the difference, and when im well you can see the difference in how shakey and tachy i get compared to inhalers!)

What causes mucous?
So it seems like the inhaler (
Salbutamol
) is doing something to reduce the mucous, but I'm just wondering why it's produced in the first place.

no wheeze, no asthma
I feel like a fake and I don't know what to do with myself, I don't want to go to A&E over the whole ""no wheeze, no asthma"" thing, yet I'm tempted to take it up and go with my next attack without going through a stupid amount of
salbutamol
first?

salbutamol

15 month old - 'probably asthma' - advice please x
He has upped her dosage of Ventolin and given her another inhaler
Salbutamol
(are they the same?), and also a short course of Prednisalone (sorry not sure how to spell it!). Also put her on amoxycillin (again!).

Tired after exacerbation - is it partly due to salbutamol or what?
I sometimes feel totally smashed, and it's since I take
salbutamol
3x daily. When something fell down, I got so unnerved and aggressive, not being able to take anything more. Do you know this effect of
salbutamol
? Does it make you kind of more exhausted and less resilient to stress?

Cold or Flu Asthma Trigger
I am now on the Symbicot and
Salbutamol
, which I take daily to control my asthma and it does a very good job. I also ride my bike every day to work to control my asthma.

What strong painkillers can I take?
I'm using
Salbutamol
regularly to try and ward off an attack, can't double up on the preventer as I already take the max dose. There is an added complication - I've recently had major abdominal surgery.
