I am taking salbutamol Sulphate. The doctors instructions were 2 puffs, four times a day. I have been and seen a locum doctor this morning as my asthma has been worse due to the weather - I have already been taking the maximum of the salamol plus i have been doubling my Symbicort 200/6 for the last

Rhinitis - Sinusitis - Post-Nasal Drip - Who 'Nose' ?!
My big problem now is to tackle my rhinitis, which I am sure feeds my asthma! I've had it all my life, and just live with it. I am not so much concerned with the runny nose, that's a nusiance but not the end of the world and is not always a problem. These days though it's more the bubbly white treacle

WANTED - INHALER PROTECTOR CASE FOR SILLY SALAMOL RELIEVER!!
Hi Basically that says it all. I am not prescribed the decent sized ventolin puffers which fit perfectly in these cool cases but rather CFC something or rather salamol puffers which are small and awkward when trying to buy sports protector cases for. I did buy a puffa pouch which is cool but too big.

Salamol - shakes, heart racing
Hi Ive had asthma pretty much as long as I can remember. I take salamol and beclazone easi-breathe inhalers. Though in truth I know I probably dont take them as much as I should. But the main reason I hate taking them is because when I take the salamol I end up shaking loads and feeling like my heart

Last week when I went to see the nurse practioner my inhalers were changed to budesonide 400, oxis and montelukast because apparently they are not allowed to prescribe flixotide any more.It shouldn't have caused any problems because

types of inhalors/use of spacers
I was wondering what people thought of the different inhalors that are available? i'm often asked if i want a dried powder, an acuhalor, a turbohalor, an easie-breathe and it can get quite confusing. Currently y Symbicort is a turbo-halor, then i have a salamol easi-breath and salbutamol MDI with spacer

Hospital Consultants
Hi all just wondered if anyone had requested a different hospital than the one allocated? I'm currently being seen by the respiratory team at St Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight. The only problem is they keep canceling my appointments and moving them back. I'm now not due to see the consultant until

Pycnogenol
Have seen articles in newsapapers about Pycnogenol. It is also referred to on this asthma site news as ""'An add-on treatment made from pine bark extract may help to improve the symptoms of children with mild to moderate asthma, suggests a new study."" This was in 2005. Would appreciate your comments
