Repinex

I have had RLS for 24 years and am currently taking 7mg of a dopamine agonist (6mg XL Repinex and 1mg ropinerole) each night. Yes, I now know a DA was not a good idea.... If there is anyone else who has been on this dose (or more), how do you deal with the exhaustion?

I have some Repinex XL left - when should I take it? How long before flight? I used to love flying - not any more!!

My PD medication consists of 180mg madopar 3 Times a day plus 8mg Repinex , all fed by the tube. I wondered why my tremors were worse than before my swallowing problems but now see from some people high nutrient food can block the action of the madopar.

After a few years on Requip XL which suited me very well, I received a letter from my GP informing me that I was being changed to Repinex XL. I tried this and almost immediately my tremor returned and I felt generally unwell.

However, my GP has advised that they intend to change my Ropinirole tablet with a tablet called Repinex XL This appears to be the generic trade name and the tablets are said to be same as Ropinerole. I was wondering whether anyone had had experience of taking this tablet, including side effects.
