PSA 6.9 six years after prostatectomy but PET/CT negative?
Another
PSA
test? Another CT scan? I mean, why would I subject myself to the Eligard if the scan shows no prostate cancer? Am I missing something? Thanks for any thoughts on this...other than the obvious thought that I'm an idiot for blowing off the
PSA
tests for three years.

FDG elements of PSMA scan
FINDINGS Appearances are largely unchanged compared to the recent
PSA
may PET-CT scan. The extensive loco-regional recurrent primary tumour within the pelvis is FDG-avid and as documented in the prior PET-CT report involves the bladder base and encases the sigmoid colon.

How long to Castrate Resistance: ADT+/- ARSI
Another measure is
PSA
progression which is available for all groups as a proxy for regimen failure: This is 2.3% (8/355) for ADT+E combo; 26% (93/358) for ADT mono; and 10% (37/355) for Enzalutamide monotherapy. Paul/MateoBeach

MRI guided radiation
(View Ray)Our US Prostate leader is recommending Avodart to keep the
PSA
down for as long as possible then Casodex until something better comes available. What are your thoughts on avoiding radiation. I have no problem watching
PSA
just don’t won’t it to metastasized. Thanks Mark

Prostate-as-"PCa Factory" - Reasons for Removal?
And because my cancer was diagnosed so late (multiple metastases to the spine and a
PSA
of 1700+) I
never had any surgery or radiation
. I generally think that in this crummy world of prostate cancer that this was a major blessing!

Asking for advice
Today my
PSA
is 0.06. The meeting with my Dr. is scheduled to next week. My doctor suggested 2 years of ADT. Is it possible for me suggest to stop or to shorten the duration of my ADT? Or is it dangerous?

advice for docetaxel
I became castrate resistant about two years ago as my
PSA
was slowly rising. I have done Provenge and then lastly a clinical trial through Duke University. My
PSA
is now around 14, which is the highest it has been since my diagnosis.

Scared looking for some advice
I found out ten months ago that I had a
PSA
of 6.4. It rose to 9.7 and recently has subsided to 8.3. I did a MRI and they said I PI-RADS 4 with a lesion in my transition zone. Seminal vesticles and Neuromuscular bundes are symmetric.

Help Understanding My Dad's Biopsy Scores
Hi everyone, My dad, 72, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer (
PSA

Sudden onset of severe leg pain
His
PSA
has dropped with the chemo treatments (142 -> 57 -> 47) - wouldn't that possibly correlate to reduced tumor activity and less pain? c) something entirely unrelated, though I can't imagine what that could be.

ART How Should We Monitor Patients During Active Surveillance?
MIN 9:20 Regimen for AS NCCN –

PSA
increases n negative DRE! [This was my case;
PSA

My
PSA

ADT + darolutamide + docetaxel (ARASENS trial) has anyone tried it?
After less than one month of regrouping and ADT only (decapeptyl - triptotrelin, which got my
PSA
from 70 to 15), my MO decided to do the ARASENS trial triplet (with my full approval, I was going to propose him this protocol). Has anyone tried it? Any suggestion?

Post EBRT notes
PSA
is still <0.1. RO, and MO still refuse ultra sensitive!!! Had
PSA
done a month into radiation, and just now, but never raised. I thought dead PCa cells would give off
PSA
. My Lymphocytes are getting back to normal, now .69 from a low of .45 a month ago.
