First Private Blood Test
This is my first post to this excellent website, and I hope someone can help me understand my first private blood test - fasting, last levothyroxine 26 hours previously. No B12 supplement for three weeks prior to the test. I did find it difficult to get sufficient blood, this being my second attempt

Anyone had 2 blood tests with different labs to compare results?
Has anyone ever been unsure of their results and taken two tests around the same time eg. NHS and a private company ie. Blue Horizon to compare their results to see if there is much in the way of a difference in levels for accuracy purposes? The reason I ask is via my GP/NHS it's never guaranteed that

Unexplained bruising?
Hello, Iāve had strange unexplained bruising all over my legs so got a variety of blood tests through my docs. Only thing that has come back is what I believe to be under active thyroid. Is unexplained bruising a common symptom? I should add that in 6 months post partum. I had thyroid tested pre

advice, thoughts please, feeling rather desperate?!
hi I only got one response to my recent post which was so kind but no feedback so am trying again as Iām a bit stumped. Iād hoped going on NDT would relieve fibro symptoms and generally help me feel better, and give me more energy, but despite latest test results I donāt feel that much different. Certainly

Emphysema on Lung Health Scan
I have mild emphysema FVC/FEV1 ratio 65% FVC % of normal 119% FEV1% of normal 104% I recently had a lung health check for cancer ( negative ) but there was no mention of emphysema on my letter --- I asked my doctor this morning & he said it probably didn't show up because your lung damage is mild

Decrease Nubeqa?
I'm 83, prostate cancer(PSA 30) with negative bone scan, negative MRI, but PET shows multiple small mets throughout both lungs and multiple lymph nodes throughout the chest. Started with 600 mgm bid of Nubeqa, and Orgovyx 120 mgm once a day. I also received radiation to the prostate approx. 6 months

Needing some input after gastroscope

Diagnosis
Hi, I'm perimenopausal and my hormone dips have thrown up digestion, hyperosmia, brain fog issues and because of lack of appetite I have become malnourished and very low on ferritin despite trying the super heme from 3 Arrows. I've had some private bloods done. Notable results are:- T3 2.97 T4

Now I'm really confused ā surprising test results

Hello Thanks to all who help on this list. Sorry I can't offer more help, still , it seems, in some post Covid state. I tried to look through past posts to see how long T3 takes to leave the system. I think it was recommended not to take for 8 hours before a blood test. I'm going to get some

Post thyroidectomy.
Am now three weeks past total thyroidectomy and removal of numerous lymph glands. First week on levothyroxine I felt great. The last week I have been sleeping around sixteen hours a day. I could sleep right now! Due to see my surgeon next week for first check up since operation. What should I ask? I've
