Pimecrolimus

Dermatologist told me to alternate hydrocortisone and Pimecrolimus cream on it but I’m a bit worried about putting Pimecrolimus.. anybody had experience with that cream? Also don’t know how long I can keep putting hydrocortisone on for!

I was given pimecrolimus cream instead, which has worked rapidly (makes sense- the skin appeared and felt more eczamatic than acne-like to me). My overworked, kind dermatologist does not recognize Mycotoxicosis and the chemical sensitivity that I have from it.

Prescribing me with Elidel Pimecrolimus cream, along with using alphosyl and nizoral shampoos. This felt like the thing that had worked the best and I felt great about my skin. Unfortunately time passed and it came back.

I have a referral to the Lupus clinic for my skin later this month, but in the meantime my local dermatologist has been treating my facial rash with steroid creams and pimecrolimus, which are working well. I still have the characteristic malar rash (SLE).
