Gout
Recently had New Aortic valve, double heart bypass and
Pericardiectomy
. Immobilised for 9 weeks in hospital. Have had to learn to walk again. Now I am on my second bout of gout and the pain is unbearable.

Does anyone have any info about a
pericardiectomy
I have been told that I need this operation. Wanna know about success rates if it will help or make things worse. Thank you

Thoughts on dropping Bisopropol and other issues 2 years on from a pericardiectomy
I am not recovering very well from my
pericardiectomy
back in May 2018 with feeling so lacking in energy, respiratory issues from the constrictive pericarditis.

Bit of background, 4 years ago I had a
pericardiectomy
due to constrictive pericarditis, all went well and I recovered extremely well with no lasting effects and I was able to return to running, cycling and spinning classes, all of which I'd enjoyed up until about a year before the op, although not running

Amiodarone
This may have been mentioned before but I am unaware of it. I saw the following info on the Thyroid UK community site here on HealthUnlocked. "Now experiencing atrial fibrillation after being 16 months without problems. I'm a cardio patient, had Amiodarone-induced hypothyroidism but was taken off
