Accessing second course of Immunotherapy
Her consultant then put her onto an immunotherapy trial and she started a course of
Pembrolizumab
. This worked wonders and shrunk her cancer by 80% in the first few months.

New and scared
I’ve just been diagnosed with Metastatic adenocarcinoma of the lung and am starting palliative treatment of Carboplatin/Pemetrexed/
Pembrolizumab
therapy on Tuesday. This all has come completely out of the blue to me, and I understand very little of what I might expect.

Good folks, Due to my veins not being visible enough for Provenge, my MO is recommending 6 infusions of Keytruda (
pembrolizumab
) one every other week. Has any of you done this and what was the experience like.

Losing my determination
First was
Pembrolizumab
which gave a tangible improvement within a few weeks of the first monthly infusion ...sadly, mid way through the second, I developed hepatitis and was in hospital for 8 days. Two weeks later, I got pneumonia and had a further 2 weeks in hospital.

Adjuvant Pembrolizumab Boosts Recurrence-Free Survival in Stage 2 High-Risk Melanoma after surgery
Rdad these results carefully noting use of Pembro with high risk melanoma patients increased length of time to recurrance, but there are concerns about use of Pembro with stage 2 which may eliminate it as a metastatic intervention. https://www.medpagetoday.com/meetingcoverage/esmo/94582?xid=nl_mpt_DHE

Hopeful trial been waiting for is finally about to start
Latest Tagawa trial at Weill Cornell combining Actinium,
Pembrolizumab
and Enzalutamide is about to begin, and I will be one of the first participants. I know and appreciate that you all will be pulling for me. I truly hope that this trial will not only help me, but many other fellow warriors.

What is MSI?
The acronym "MSI" has come up in a number of posts concerning the use of immunotherapy, specifically with
pembrolizumab
(trade name Keytruda). Never having heard of MSI before I looked it up in the Wikipedia.

Decision needed
He would either get just the AMG 160 or AMG 160 with Keytruda (
pembrolizumab
.) I’ve heard of pretty severe side effects from AMG 160. Also, it involves hospitalization three times in the first month. But I’m also very enthusiastic about immuno therapy‘s as a treatment for cancer.

Cancer Vaccines?
Combining the personalized vaccine with
Pembrolizumab
, an immunotherapy medicine that works with the immune system to fight certain types of cancers, will hopefully allow further benefit to patients than
pembrolizumab
alone.

Title; Pembrolizumab + Olaparib
I have started a clinical trial which is based on 3 weekly cycles of Pembrolizuma(200mg once every 3 weeks) + Olaparib(600mg per day). So far I feel that I may not be tolerating the dosage rate of Olaparib so good as I don't feel as well as I did before the trial and I am experiencing a lot of the side

Can anyone share experiences of External Beam Radiotherapy to the lungs?
I have no experience of any treatment beyond Keytruda
Pembrolizumab
which ended for me 9 months ago. I’ve just started to get a bit of energy back but still have all kinds of pain and stuff going on.

18 years with metastatic prostate cancer – operation number three, but no good news for me – the end game begins.
I’m still not sure, as there was a smaller but noticeable increase in pain a few days after the second
pembrolizumab
infusion.
