I have terrible rectal spasms. I have been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction and intersistalcystis. I cannot have any kind of sexual
Relations, even if I am giving my husband pleasure and I become aroused I have terrible spasms. Does anyone else experience any of these symptoms? I really feel totally dysfunctional. Anyone have any advice? Thank you for listening.

Does anyone have an unbearable pain as the bladder fills and a horrible tightening after urinating within the vulvar area? No doctors know.
They call it interstitial cystitis with
pelvic
floor
muscle
dysfunction
...But I'm not sure that's what it is. No UTI for over a year, although feels like one 24/7 for me. Any response will be truly appreciated! -C

I have generalized and provoked vulvodynia and pelvic floor dysfunction which has caused muscle spasms in my left buttock and leg.
going to be starting pt and wondering if anyone has gotten pain relief from internal massage or myofascial release and has anyone used a biofeedback device. Any info appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone has had botox in the piriformis or puborectalis and what their experiences were?
After a lot of
pelvic
trauma, I have 'Non Relaxing
Pelvic
Floor
Dysfunction
'. A very basic summary is that my
pelvic
muscles go into spasm and when they contract and thicken they put pressure on nerves and I now have chronic pelvic and everywhere pain!

Dyssynergic defecation : Why can't I get help ?
Now the underlying problem of
pelvic
floor
dysfunction
has come to light. The consultant discharged me saying there is nothing else that she can do for me, the surgery was a success & I had some physio but without success as most of the time.

Health Professionals need more training in managing chronic pelvic pain and chronic pain in general.
In fact a care pathway would be great incorporating pudendal neuralgia, pelvic nerve problems and other
pelvic
conditions that are not recognised like interstitial cystitis,
pelvic
floor
dysfunction
, myofascial pain,
pelvic
congestion etc.
