Orgovyx

Swithed Lupron with Orgovyx. To my great relief so far is these SARMS are actually not interfering with my treatments, but helping fight the cancer with elimination of side effects, and actually helping my bloodwork.

Went on Orgovyx and Xtandi and PSA rapidly went to 4, then 30 days later 2.33 and a month later (now) PSA at 2.03.... Im concerned that the Firmagon failed after just 4 months and now I'm seeing xtandi seemingly stalling and I'm taking steps to plan out my next move. 

We switched from Firmagon to Orgovyx in August 2021. In January 2022 we added Nubeqa. PSA has held pretty steady around 0.1 - 0.3. In September 2022 took a vacation from ADT and Nubeqa to give me a break and hopefully bring back muscle mass.

I no longer use Relugolix and have three unopened bottles of 120mg tablets with each bottle containing 30 tablets (a 90 day supply if taking 1 tablet daily). Expiration dates are: 02/23/23, 3/22/23 and 05/03/23. I'm happy to send them to anyone in the U.S. who needs them (just reimburse me for shipping

my husbands AST and ALT have continued to climb on Zytiga and Orgovyx. His MO said he would start testing every 2 weeks but wasn’t concerned until they were 5x the upper limit. We are approaching that after yesterdays test unfortunately.

He recommends ADT only and my Local MED ONC agrees (Orgovyx oral over Firmagon, intermittent ADT, to reduce side effects).

So, I am back on HT (Orgovyx). Hopefully, it will dissolve/diminish these nodes. It was VERY disappointing. I guess what I'm asking: 1) Is HT without SBRT still likely to put a dent and maybe eliminate those aforementioned nodal spots?

According to Pylarify PSMA scan at beginning of 2022, I am mCSPC (lymph nodes only, but beyond oligo), and am now on the oral ADT antagonist Relugolix (Orgovyx) and Apalutamide, both of which my oncologist recommends that I stay on for as long as they work for me.

I am trying to get an idea of better test labs markers besides just the usual PSA for becoming castrat resistant, because if my SOC of ADT (Orgovyx, and Nubeqa) is starting to fail I would want to immediately jump on BAT. My doc always adds LDH.

I have stopped responding to the combination of Orgovyx/Darolutimide, and PSA doubling time is at about 3 weeks. I will have a blood draw before treatment, and it will be the first PSA check in about 6 weeks. I am expecting PSA to be around 40 - 50.

I think the Orgovyx may have exacerbated this. I've reached out to my onco re: estradiol patches to try to stem the loss. Any thoughts on how I might proceed in addressing the osteoporosis while remaining on warfarin and Orgovyx?

Hello all, I believe I saw it here a while back where it was stated that after castrate resistance has been reached and then moving onto taxotere (chemo), that in some cases the chemo somehow causes some sort of a "reset" to where drugs like Orgovyx, Xtandi, Zytiga, etc., begin to work again..

If adding lupron fails try orgovyx. Than what!, Recent f18 psma pet\ct scan showed local prostate reccurrence of 2cm tumor on left side of prostate non metastatic. R O said no salvage therapy on previously radiated prostate.

Now on Orgovyx and Xtandi. My concern is the relative quick failing of Firmagon. Would this indicate that the Xtandi will also fail quickly? Thanks!

Was on Orgovyx two moths prior to fiducials. Not on it now. Terrible side effects- hot flashes 24/7, etc. Any thoughts on self cath etc. Started Cialis 5mg at night again to see if it would help with previous diagnosis of BPH. I’m a retired DO-72yr old.

I'm 4 years in on the standard triple blockade (Abiraterone / Orgovyx / Dutasteride) and things are going very well. PSA is stable at < 0.01. And I just rode a century ride this past weekend. (woot!)

One month of firmigon and 3 months on Orgovyx and my test results came back today at PSA 27.98 and Testosterone 20. The T seems reasonable but my PSA should be dropping. Would anyone know what might be going on here?

I had been on lupron but now use orgovyx to control my PC. My question is are there negative side effects that I should be concerned about? Also my PC has not been detected on scans. Thanks

My oncologist is starting me on Orgovyx and getting me set up to try Provenge. Current PSA 2.2 and rising pretty quick. Had prostate removed in 1/22. First diagnosis in 2000. Can anyone share their experiences with either drug? Once again appreciate all the information and sharing.
