However recommended total hysterectomy including
omentectomy
and surgical washout. Not sure if this is debulking surgery or not? How long should I expect to be in hospital for? I’m 54 now and live alone so trying to arrange family to come and stay post surgery.

Treating recurrence with Doxil: Side Effects?
Prior to chemo I had a complete hysterectomy,
omentectomy
, appendectomy, and transverse colon resection. I now have a recurrence, with a tumor near the sigmoid colon and rectum. There is no surgery or radiation treatment they can do for this.

WHAT is even bleeding?
In 2019 I also had a bilateral oophorectomy, salpingectomy,
omentectomy
, appendectomy. In July2019 I was in remission but in March 2020 recurred achieving my current "partial response" stable status by October 2020. My CA125 Friday was stable. 16.

Granulosa cell tumour - chemo advice
I had a full hysterectomy,
omentectomy
and during surgery my surgeon found a small nodule on the r.h. peritoneum. The histology has shown that this is granulosa cell tumour, and has been staged as 2b.

Ovarian cancer metastasis to liver.
Initially she had 6 cycles of chemo and the they did hysterectomy and
omentectomy
. Doctor said it’s not spread to the intestines which is a great news. And we were happy that mom would be fine. But after 6 months she had terrible abdominal pain and she had her ct scan.

Nil residual ...
Ok, I received a letter as a courtesy from my oncologist, dated 20 August, received 11 September saying this: From surgeon: 'TAH-BSO
OMENTECTOMY
BPLND PALND NIL RESIDUAL' Does this mean that I have no cancer? ‘She has no children and no partner.’ How is this relevant?

In remission for 9 years today!
Just a short good news posting - 9 years ago today I had a TAH, BSO and
omentectomy
and was subsequently diagnosed with stage 1a seromucinous adenocarcinoma. I did not need chemo and have never had a recurrence.

Too long between surgery and chemo?
Ann had debulking surgery 4th December, full hysterectomy,
omentectomy
, removal.of some of small bowel mesentery, appendectomy, some other nodules. On 21st Jan, which was an awfully long wait, she had her follow up appointment which confirmed her diagnosis of grade 3c clear cell ovarian cancer.

scan or no scan?
I have OV stage 3C, had chemo and total hysterectomy and
omentectomy
as well. I was told on Jan. 15th, I was NED. From what I have read, Mayo Clinic claims that my having a recurrence is less likely to happen because of all that was removed. Not sure how true that is though but I hope it is fact!

New here: about to have TAHBSO, worried about upstaging and menopause.
I'm going for full staging surgery next week - total hysterectomy, BSO and
omentectomy
, and whatever else they need to do. If BOT is the diagnosis, it sounds like the op will hopefully take care of it all. What I'm wondering is, did anyone here who had a query BOT prior to surgery get upstaged?

12 years tomorrow
Tomorrow it will be 12 years since my initial surgery - total hysterectomy, bso, &
omentectomy
, & diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Two years later, I had my first recurrence & my next surgery. I now have my fifth recurrence, & am taking Letrozole, which is currently keeping it pretty stable.

zejula or not?
I have OVC, 3C. had a total hysterectomy, salpingo-oophectomy and
omentectomy
. I have read that recurrence now is highly unlikely for me. I did well with chemo. Had two before surgery and 4 afterward.I am now in remission and my Ca_125 is a 5. Is taking Zejula worth it?

CA125 update
Has anyone who’s had the surgery ( radical hysterectomy, BSO,
omentectomy
, peritoneal stripping etc) still had tummy pains (like pulled muscles) more than 8 months later?
