Gastric issues
Has today been diagnosed with Eosinophilic
oesophagitis
and gastritis by hospital after biopsies. He is on other bits as well so if you want to know let me know!! She was a wonder. She told me basically what the hospital told me only 7 weeks ago. Who says alternative meds is a load if rubbish.

Gastrointestinal problems - Diagnosis & Causative Given = Connective Tissue Disorder
I had a Endoscopy recently, diagnosed with hiatus hernia, and
oesophagitis
. I had a follow up with the Gastroenterology registrar, and she has written to my GP & Rheumatologist and has stated that in her opinion I have oesophageal dysmotility relating to connection tissue disease overlap.

What are alternatives to azathioprine?
Dr treated me for infection (some sign of urine infection on dipstick test), but also gastritis/
oesophagitis
due to being on pred for months. I kind of agree with dx, but I so wanted the Aza to work as very keen to get prednisolone dose down (still on 20mgs per day).

I've also had a stomach ulcer & atrophic gastritis (H. pylori Neg) and am prone to an
oesophagitis
, that can be triggered just from breathing some chemical like plastic car interior. I get Lupus-like reactions to drugs eg Plaquenil, Clexane.

Do Gastric issues heal themselves?
My diagnosis is; Gasstric Oesophageal Reflux Disease, Gastritis, Hiatal Hernia and
Oesophagitis
to name a few. I am trying to find out if these conditions heal themselves as I have been offered no treatment at all for any.

Coeliac disease and eosinophilic oesophagitis?
I am really hoping that the GF diet resolves the
oesophagitis
but I've been told this in unlikely. Anyone have experience of both conditions resolving when going GF?
