FDA Warns of Heart Failure Risk With Two Diabetes Drugs
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a new alert about the potential for increased risk for heart failure in patients taking the type 2 diabetes drugs saxagliptin (Onglyza, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP) and alogliptin (Nesina, Takeda Pharmaceuticals).

Stopping Thalidomide treatment; starting Cyclophosphamide (in addition to masses of other stuff)
I blogged in September 2011 about starting Thalidomide treatment. It was going really well, and I was getting my steroids down, with the hope of getting off some of my other immunosuppressants as well. Thalidomide pills are taken nightly, and they are really easy to take. They are only dispensed by hospital
