6 weeks and no improvement
Fast forward to now, I've had 4 different antibiotics (amoxicillin, 2 x doxycyline and clarithromycin) and 2 lots of steroids (1 x 7 days @ 25mg - no improvement, 1 x7 days @ 30mg - peak flow up to 450 but only have 1 day left) I've also now been given
mucodyne
too.

ABPA from Linda
I have just been given incruse and relvar types of inhalers and
mucodyne
to thin mucus. I would love to hear from others as to how they cope with this.

Saline
Hi, I have alot of difficulty coughing up mucus as it is very sticky, I was taking
mucodyne
but stopped taking it to see if it was actually doing anything, I think it was helping but I would like to try a more natural way of clearing my chest.

Introduction
Symbicort, Theophylline tablets, Spiriva and
Mucodyne
. I'm pleased to say that I finished with both the nebuliser and oxygen 2 weeks ago, and (touch wood) seem to be doing o.k. without them. My breathing is a lot better, think I'm coughing less and more easily.

Set back
Gp put me on
mucodyne
3 weeks ago and within days felt so much better it was unbliveable. Every one was noticing how well I was and I felt almost like a new woman. Last night had so much mucus on chest had a coughing fit for over a hour and really was struggling to breath.

Hi there, I have just been prescribed Spiriva 18 mg by my GP. I wondered if anyone uses/has used this for bronchiectasis and if so,
I have not wanted to start using inhalation medicines but this is my latest prescription, as
Mucodyne
didn't help and just made me very drowsy.

Hi all. I am feeling rather anxious at the moment over prescriptions
I have asked for a doctor to ring me so I could tell them that as I have agoraphobia I need more then 2 weeks of saline and only 10 days of
mucodyne
at a time.
