Humira, Enbrel or Rituximab? I wonder if anyone else was given a choice, and if so, how they reached a decision
It looks as if I would have to go to the hospital for Rituximab, but what scares me about that drug is the risk (not quantified) of Progressive Multifocal
Leukoencephalopathy
. Not only do I want to avoid that, I wouldn't want to spell it too often!. Jo

Any opinion on the use of Rituximab and the risk of (PML) Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy which is said can be lethal.
For the past 2 years I've been on 15mg prednisolone + 100mg Azathioprine, and my platelet level is around 20 thousand. Thanks to TCM, traditional chinese medicine, and care, til now I am not suffering the nasty side effects of the steroid.
