Does anyone else have a persistent sore mouth that they think is associated with reflux?
Having developed reflux since my
gastroscopy
, I am plagued with a sore mouth - red tongue and roof of mouth. Lansoprazole and omeprazole have both made this worse, so I feel I can't medicate for the reflux. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Graham Hughes' January 2013 blog
Other problems included a tendency to faint, a tendency to abdominal pain following a meal (
gastroscopy
was normal), occasional angina-like chest pains and episodes of ‘weakness’ in the legs. She had become pregnant twice, but each ended in miscarriage.

See below - Barrett's after oesophagectomy
Had a
Gastroscopy
two weeks ago which showed a return of Barretts Oesophagus on the remaining piece that my stomach is attatched to. My consultant says it's low risk at present and i will have 6 monthly Gastroscopys to check on it. Also, if it does get nasty it's too high for surgery.

Pylorus Sphincter very tight. What are my options?
I have been offered a
gastroscopy
and during that scope the specialist will decide on whether to dilate or give me botox. I have read a lot about the botox and i don't have much faith in that it will work for long.

Are there any distance runners with coeliac disease here?
Hello, I am due to go in for a colonoscopy and
Gastroscopy
at the end of this month. From my symptoms I am almost certain that I have developed Coeliac disease. I have been running for over 30 years and regularly compete in Marathons and other races.

Hello :)
I've spent ages reading the forums - didnt realise they existed until recently! I've been looking for experiences with Xolair, as I have my outpatient appointment at Papworth tomorrow and want to ask them if they will consider it for me. I have severe asthma, with allergies - which I may cope with

Gastric reflux
Finally I was sent for a
gastroscopy
and the consultant said I had a bad case of bile reflux and he has put me on domperidone with another appointment in a month. I am still burping, sometimes more than others. Nothing was mentioned about cutting out certain foods.

Some inflammation was seen so I have to see my GP to get a prescription for "high dose of PPI for one month then repeat
gastroscopy
" I wasn't aware of reflux being much of a problem so a bit surprised by that.

Can anyone help?
I was diagnosed with CD in late November 2010 following
gastroscopy
/biopsy. However, after being strictly GF since December 2010, the coeliac consultant has now decided that my repeated illnesses are unlikely to be related to CD - my TTG is now down to 3 from over 200.

Monitoring after diagnoses of acid reflux.
I returned to see him and he prescribed Lansoprazole (30mg) but also referred me for another
gastroscopy
. The Lansoprazole did not work - but the
gastroscopy
identified ulcerated areas at the lower end of my oesophagus and upper part of my stomach.

I had symptoms of ovarian cancer 7 months ago and ultrasound scan and CT were normal - symptoms have continued - see below
Gastroscopy
showed hiatus hernia and colonoscopy showed flat 30mm polyp (biopsies have come back as benign) which I am awaiting removal of. I questioned with my Dr about the symptoms being those of ovarian cancer and he said but you had a clear CT 7 months ago.
