Svt’s and Afib
I have had multaq, tioksen, amiodarone,
flecainide
. I now am on metropolol, fosinopril, and eliquis. I have read on this site where people are on bisoroil and soidoil? My cardiologist is taking the conservative approach. Says the Eliquis is the best defense.

October update
So I decided to ditch all the herbal formulations and give 50 mg
Flecainide
2X daily a try, on the advice of my EP. I felt great for a couple of days, but then had scary hallucinations. I've tried going back to Pill-in-Pocket, which is working fine.

Been on
Flecainide
for two weeks... Feels like heart failure!?! Struggling with AF on and off for a couple of years (I’m 43) was hoping to settle things down then do an ablation but I think this
Flecainide
has hit me like a bus, has anyone else had a bad reaction to it?

Flecainide....weight gain?
I have been on
flecainide
, and bisoprolol for a few years. Do any of you that are on
flecainide
gain weight with this med? I feel if I didn,t eat at all I would still gain weight.. frustrating. I feel it also gives me phlegm and a cough that disturbed people around me.

Nausea & Flecainide
I take
Flecainide
daily and have done for decades. For Monday’s short episode of AF I took extra
Flecainide
to stabilise my heart rhythm. After seeking answers to why I keep getting this nausea I am wondering if there is an outside chance that the source of my problem might just be
Flecainide
.

Hi I’m Skipping Beats
Quite new here & First time I’ve originated a post, though I have replied to others, mostly re
Flecainide
. I’ve noticed a few skipped beats this afternoon - expect this is quite common? Feels weird!

Can I stop taking
Flecainide
suddenly to switch to a new medication or should I taper off. I have Afib and mild hypertension under good control

Flecainide side effects
Included in the listed side effects of
Flecainide
are "fast, irregular, racing, or pounding heartbeat or pulse," along with anxiety and depression. Good grief. It makes sense; I cannot recall having an episode like this.

My journey so far
So my instructions now is if I go into af take
Flecainide
100 and a diazepam and if af continues after 2 hours take another 100
Flecainide

I feel different post ablation
I went into afib a few weeks after my ablation and was on a combination of
flecainide
and beta blockers until July 2018. My dose of one or both of these was reduced every six months. I am only on a anti-coag now. I exercise regularly and am in ok shape.

Beta Blockers & Hemoglobin a1c
Plus it's needed for when I take my PIP
Flecainide
. I've been curious to see if going off Toprol might improve my Hemoglobin a1c test, which has stayed firmly in the pre-diabetes range every 6 months these past 4 years, in spite of my excellent diet and self-care.

Ablation decision
I saw my cardio last week, who suggested I start taking 50 mg
Flecainide
twice daily instead of only PIP and that I speak to my EP about another ablation. My second ablation was 10 months ago. I took the first 50 mg, not in AF, and it triggered an episode.

High Blood Pressure
I managed to return to NSR fairly quickly with
Flecainide
and a small Bisoprolol. Unfortunately however, I then developed terrible Nausea coupled with a far greater awareness of my Ectopics which are always with me.
