She is currently receiving 4 cycles of chemotherapy (carboplatin and etoposide) - she is in the 3rd cycle at present. She is also receiving targeted radiation therapy (she has almost completed her scheduled 25 sessions).

Hi all, was diagnosed with OC stage 3c jan 2016, after many chemo’s have been told that there is nothing else that can be done to halt the cancer and have been given Etoposide to try and slow it down. Anyone else had these ?

There are several possible options, including restarting carboplatin and etoposide, but it feels to me like it's hail mary time. I could use a miracle about now.

In brief, I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in January in my bladder and liver, responded well to carboplatin+etoposide, but the cancer came back in my liver by the end of September. I just started my third cycle of cabazitaxel chemotherapy and have a scan scheduled for December 15th.

I’ve just been told that, most likely, Etoposide (part of the Van der Berg regimen) will be my last line of treatment. My head is spinning out of desperation. I’m in UCLH Macmillan Cancer Centre and thinking of getting second opinion. But how? And is it worth? I’m from Lithuania.

I'm currently on carboplatin, etoposide, and atezolizumab for neuroendocrine prostate cancer. Scans done before the third infusion showed shrinkage of the tumors in my bladder and liver. To enhance the side effects, I also got lupron and xgeva injections at the end of the first week.

Plan includes Cisplatin, Etoposide and an immunotherapy add of Atezolizumab. Seeking any positive experiences, tips on dealing with side effects, etc. Hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday. Best, Leo

I am now on oral medication Etoposide I take at home. Have to take it for 10 & get 11 days off. Today is day 7 & I fell ok. No major side affects yet & my bloods are looking good to continue.Thanks for hearing me out.
