EKLIRA GENUAIR (ALACIDINIUM BROMIDE)?
Hi, My COPD nurse has changed me from spiriva to Eklira Genuair. Just wondering if anyone is using this and if it is more effective than spiriva? The nurse told me that Eklira is a lot cheaper which is okay if it's just as good or better. Would appreciate your comments.

Thank you all for replying to my post re Eklira Genuair
It's obviously not for everyone and doesn't seem to be doing much for me. I think I'll stick to the nebulised ipratropium which does help. I read somewhere (probably on here), that some paramedics, as part of their training did a cross-country run, then ran up and down flights of stairs and then had

replacement for seritde 500
hi all, I've been on seratide 500 now for nearly five years and feel it's not working any more, my gp refuses to let me try anything else to replace it. My question is, do you know of any other inhaler that I can try in its place. I am on eklira genuair and seratide 500 at the moment. thanks in anticipation

Eklira Genuair 322 (aclidinium bromide)
I have been on the above inhaler for about 5/6 days and feeling really rough. Sunday night I awoke gasping for breath about 4am, I got up and realised I had forgotten my evening dose which the nurse thought could be the reason, have not had that again but gradually I am getting worse with a cough, wheezing

eklira genuair faulty ?
hi,my name is Rikki and recently I have noticed that my eklira sometimes doesn't give me a dose after inhaling , the reason I know this is that there is no powder residue in my mouth to rinse out or even taste, this has happened on two occasions now and I'm starting to think that there is a problem

I have seen that some members are using eklira genuair. A few have said that they would post on how this drug was or wasn't helping them.
That was quite some time ago, and I haven't seen any updates. If any of you can, please let us know how this drug is working for you. I was prescribed this about. Month ago, so just wondering if most users still find it helpful with breathing after a longer time of use. Barbara

Eklira Genuair Daxas
Please does anyone know the benefits of Eklira Genuair as opposed to Spiriva - is it better or the same? AND: Daxas - Has anyone got experience of this tablet? My Consultant said there are side effects and one of them is weight loss and I am too thin already. Can anyone throw any light on these two

Eklira Genuair (aclidinium bromide)
A few weeks ago I received a letter from my surgery outlining their plan to transfer copd patients currently using Spiriva to the new Elkira Genuair inhaler. This would take effect from the 1st April. I had the option of refusing this change and continuing with the Spiriva, or to at least give Elkira

Has anyone been given this new COPD drug?
My Good Housekeeping magazine (January issue) has a letter from the wife of a person with COPD. The question is about inhalers. What I noticed in the reply was the following: "An alternative to Spiriva called Eklira Genuair has just been licensed. It's a new kind of inhaler that clicks and has a colour-change
