Antiarrhthmic drugs working great, but scheduled for ablation
They started him on the antiarrhythmic drug
Dofetilide
(Tikosyn) , in the hope that his heart would convert to NSR but it didn't, so after three days he had a cardioversion which worked, and he continued on the
Dofetilide
.

My AF history
So far, for the last six months since having the pacemaker implanted and taking the
Dofetilide
, I feel great with no AF at all and full of energy like never before.

A bit of a light-hearted post
Before my ablation I was entered into a trial for
Dofetilide
. After some days and with it not converting me on its own, I was scheduled for a cardioversion.

Back in Rhythm
Well, he suggested I go back on
Dofetilide
. Told him I was on it before but it stopped working for me. He told me that the heart changes after an ablation so it was that or solitol for the best results. Well, I went back on
dofetilide
about a week ago. It seems to be working!!.

After cryo ablation issues?
I have been off the
dofetilide
for about a month maybe a little over. I have noticed that when I swim I'm starting to feel a little tired and start breathing hard. I stop and rest for awhile and sometimes I can finish my laps and other times I have to stop and rest again.

Exercise Buffs help me out here
I don't know whether this condition is from the meds(apixiban, carvedilol, clopidogrel,
dofetilide
, and pravachol) or the afib or combo of both. I'm really at a loss. Thought about going to a sports cardiologist for an opinion. As you can see I'm a pretty active guy. Any suggesrtions??
