I had my a cryoblation done January of 2016. Last 6 or 8 months I have been slowly experiencing small episodes of afib. With each week the episodes were becoming more and more frequent. Went to my EP and his opinion was I have a redo or go on Amiadrone (don't know if this is the correct spelling). After reading the long list of side effects I decided to pass. I got the impression that the EP was tired of my complaining and could really care less. Time to find a new doctor. Found a new EP who spent time with me discussing my life style and the options available to achieve these aims. Well, he suggested I go back on Dofetilide. Told him I was on it before but it stopped working for me. He told me that the heart changes after an ablation so it was that or solitol for the best results. Well, I went back on dofetilide about a week ago. It seems to be working!!. Did my swim with no problem and a small but challenging bike ride with no ill effects. I take each day as it comes anymore. Each day I don't experience afib is a real blessing. I really am grateful for this site and the people on it.
