Diprosone

She prescribed topical treatment for the scalp (diprosone and a stronger one later). As she retired she sent me to a 'specialist' dermatologist - his replacement (he seems to be very busy/disorganised) has been dealing with me for the last 18 months.

Got a 2nd opinion in Spain in May2021, who prescribed Diprosone (topical steroid cream) which I'd used before.Normal dermato confirmed Spanish dermato's prescription who felt it wasn't strong enough to 'control' things so prescribed stronger topical steroid cream (clobestasol).

Applying diprosone OV ointment & Vaseline.

Main concern been Diprosone Ointment which I’ve used for years now to tame any flare ups on my body. Now, even if I had a break from it for over a week...using it actually makes my skin turn even more red and itchy turning into massive red marks that last for days.

i have prescribed diprosone 0.05% cream (not over the counter) and i'm still unsure as to how to apply it properly. Do i put it on the outer or inner skin? do i stretch before or after applying the cream? should i stretch at all?

Cause Aristocaut, Diprosone, Celestone, Sigmacaut etc are not working and my dermatologist appt isn't until next month! D"X
